1978 Founded in Boise, Idaho

Robert Apex and five partners establish a small commercial contractor with a simple promise: deliver on time, every time.

1987 First Civil Win

Awarded the Route 41 overpass — ACG's entry into civil and infrastructure construction.

1995 100% Employee Owned

The company transitions to full ESOP, creating a culture where every team member has a stake in every outcome.

2002 Into Canada

Our first Canadian project opens the door to international growth.

2010 Pacific Expansion

Brisbane office opens; our first Australian project breaks ground.

2015 1,000th Project

The Westport Convention Centre marks a milestone. 1,000 projects. 1,000 commitments kept.

2020 Net-Zero Pledge
